THE ROLE As a Project Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of game development projects. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, artists, programmers, and quality assurance professionals. Your primary focus will be on project planning, execution, and coordination to meet deadlines and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Project Planning:
- Work closely with the VP of Game Production to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Create detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Project Execution:
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with the overall game development roadmap.
- Monitor progress, track milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and resolve any bottlenecks.
Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with game designers, artists, and programmers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Foster a positive team environment, encouraging creativity and productivity.
- Assist in resource allocation and workload distribution.
Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure rigorous testing and bug resolution.
- Conduct regular reviews to maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Communication:
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication between team members.
- Address any project-related issues promptly.
Continuous Improvement and Learning:
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Seek opportunities for process improvement and share insights with the team.
- Embrace a growth mindset and contribute to your own professional development.
KEY SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science).
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the gaming industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana)
